LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 2003-144 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance amending Sections 1126.03 and 1126.04 of Chapter 1126 of the Planning <br />and Zoning Code entitled "Commercial and Other Building Permits," to provide for the <br />Director of Planning to review development plans, as amended. Councilman Gareau <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 2003-144 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-17 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance amending Section 111.02 of Chapter 111 of the Administrative Code, <br />entitled "City Contracts" in order to require the city's contractors to disclose information <br />relating to past litigation involving claims by or against the contractor. Councilman <br />Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2004-17 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-22 introduced by Council Members Gareau, Miller, Nashaz, Dailey <br />McKay and Kasler was given its second reading. An ordinance amending Section 161.06 <br />of the Administrative Code, entitled "Vehicle Mileage Allowance" so as to establish a <br />new city policy regarding the use city and private vehicles by city employees for official <br />city business, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Gazeau moved to table. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Nashaz. Roll call: Gazeau, yes; Nashaz, yes; <br />McKay, yes; Dailey, yes; Limpert, yes; Miller, yes, commenting that he was glad this <br />ordinance was brought forward as it did produce a vehicle use policy from the <br />administration. He would like to thank all the various people who participated in <br />formulating that and getting it into place. The city is better off with it. The motion <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2003-22 tabled. <br />(}rdinance No. 2004-21 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for currern expenses and other expenditures for the City <br />of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2004. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-23 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Finance to request proposals from vendors to <br />design and build a new financial accounting information system for the City of North <br />Olmsted; further, authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the vendor <br />selected in the RFP process and approved by the Board of Cornrol; and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Limpert moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Counciman <br />Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gazeau and <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2004-23 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-24 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $1,165,000 of notes, in anticipation of <br />the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of improving certain designated streets in the city, in <br />cooperation with Cuyahoga County and otherwise, by grading, draining, widening, <br />replacing sections of concrete pavement, preparing the surface and surfacing and <br />resurfacing and constructing and reconstructing sidewalks, manholes, catch basins and <br />~.,~.rW <br />~, <br />
