Council Minutes of 2/17/2004 <br />Ordinance No. 2004-23 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Finance to request proposals from vendors to <br />design and build a new financial accounting information system for the City of North <br />Olmsted; further, authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the vendor <br />selected in the RFP process and approved by the Board of Control; and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-24 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $1,165,000 of notes, in anticipation of <br />the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of improving certain designated streets in the city, in <br />cooperation with Cuyahoga County and otherwise, by grading, draining, widening, <br />replacing sections of concrete pavement, preparing the surface and surfacing and <br />resurfacing and constructing and reconstructing sidewalks, manholes, catch basins and <br />driveway approaches, where necessary in each case together with the necessary <br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Finance Chairperson Kasler noted she was in <br />possession of the fiscal officer's certificate for Ordinance 2004-24. <br />Ordinance No. 200425 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $90,000 of notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, to pay costs of acquiring a dump truck with snow plow assembly and <br />other related equipment for use in carrying out functions of the Department of Public <br />Service. Finance Chairperson Kasler noted she was in possession of the fiscal officer's <br />certif cafe for Ordinance 2004-25. <br />Resolution No. 2004-26 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for installation of <br />a water line for the BartonBradley soccer fields irrigation system, and further authorizing <br />the Mayor, after Board of Control approval, to execute a contract with the lowest and best <br />bidder. <br />Resolution No. 2004-27 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for seven (7) <br />copy machine leases and service agreements, and further authorizing the Mayor, after <br />Board of Control approval, to execute a contract with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Resolution No. 2004-28 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids with an outside <br />contractor for the purpose of providing, on a contract basis, leaf pick-up service <br />throughout the City of North Olmsted, further authorizing the Mayor, upon approval of <br />the Board of Control, to execute a contract with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2004-29 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a renewed <br />service contract, for the ane-year term of January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004, <br />with Medtronic Physio-Control Corp., in order to provide technical support for the <br />13 <br />i <br />
