Council Minutes of 2/17/2004 Ordinance No. 2004-23 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An ordinance authorizing the Director of Finance to request proposals from vendors to design and build a new financial accounting information system for the City of North Olmsted; further, authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the vendor selected in the RFP process and approved by the Board of Control; and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2004-24 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $1,165,000 of notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of improving certain designated streets in the city, in cooperation with Cuyahoga County and otherwise, by grading, draining, widening, replacing sections of concrete pavement, preparing the surface and surfacing and resurfacing and constructing and reconstructing sidewalks, manholes, catch basins and driveway approaches, where necessary in each case together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Finance Chairperson Kasler noted she was in possession of the fiscal officer's certificate for Ordinance 2004-24. Ordinance No. 200425 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $90,000 of notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of acquiring a dump truck with snow plow assembly and other related equipment for use in carrying out functions of the Department of Public Service. Finance Chairperson Kasler noted she was in possession of the fiscal officer's certif cafe for Ordinance 2004-25. Resolution No. 2004-26 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for installation of a water line for the BartonBradley soccer fields irrigation system, and further authorizing the Mayor, after Board of Control approval, to execute a contract with the lowest and best bidder. Resolution No. 2004-27 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for seven (7) copy machine leases and service agreements, and further authorizing the Mayor, after Board of Control approval, to execute a contract with the lowest and best bidder. Resolution No. 2004-28 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids with an outside contractor for the purpose of providing, on a contract basis, leaf pick-up service throughout the City of North Olmsted, further authorizing the Mayor, upon approval of the Board of Control, to execute a contract with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 2004-29 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial.
