They were just <br />looking for someone in case of a computer crash. <br />LEGISLA~'ION <br />Resolution No. 2003-177 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a fourth interim agreement with the City of <br />North Royalton, Ohio, for the stabilization and disposal of biosolids generated by the <br />North Olmsted Wastewater Treatment Plant, and declaring an emergency. Councilman <br />McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and <br />passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2003-177 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-1 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance creating new Section 137.03 of Chapter 137 of the Administrative Code, <br />entitled "Department of Law," in order to authorize the Director of Law to settle certain <br />small dollar claims of or against the City of North Olmsted. Councilman Gareau moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Kasler and passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 2004-1 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-2 introduced by Mayor Musiai was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance dispensing with the RFP process otherwise required by Sections 111.03 et seq. <br />of the Administrative Code and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with <br />for the purpose of providing computer consulting services to the city pending <br />appointment of a new Data Processing Commissioner, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilwoman Kasler moved to table. The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller <br />and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2004-2 tabled. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-4 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance repealing Ordinance No. 92-151 in order to abolish the Division of <br />Electronic Data Processing and the positions of Commissioner and Network Specialist <br />within said division; establishing a new division within the Department of Personnel and <br />Administrative Services entitled the Division of Information Systems, and creating within <br />said new division a new position entitled "Network Administrator"; and declaring an <br />emergency, as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-5 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance establishing rates of compensation for the newly created position of <br />Network Administrator, and otherwise re-establishing those rates for various <br />administrative and legislative personnel for the years 2004 and 2005 as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-6 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to renew the agreement <br />between the city and Karrie Skall Tipton for the provision of professional gymnastics <br />instruction services at the North Olmsted Recreation Center for two (2) years and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Dailey moved for suspension of the rules requiring <br />three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed <br />15 <br />
