Council Minutes of 1/6/2004 Ordinance No. 2003-162 introduced by Councilmen Limpert and Gareau was given its third reading. An ordinance establishing within the Special Revenue Fund group a "Building and Land Acquisition and Improvement Fund" of the City of North Olmsted, and directing that the net proceeds received by the city from the sale of the "Old Library" building at 27425 Butternut Ridge Road be paid into said Special Revenue Fund, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption, and the motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau. Roll call: Limpert, yes; Gareau, yes; Kasler, yes; Nashaz, no; McKay, no; Miller, no; Dailey, yes. The motion passed with four yeas and three nays. Ordinance No. 2003-162 adopted. Resolution No. 2003-168 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 5,000 tons of asphalt and tack coating for various streets in the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications on file in his office, and authorizing the Mayor, subject to the approval by the Board of Control, if necessary, to enter into a contract for same and declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2003-168 adopted. Resolution No. 2003-171 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for cracksealing on various streets in the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications on file in his office, and authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval by the Board of Control, if necessary, to enter into a contract for same and declazing an emergency. Councilman Nashar moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2003-171 adopted. Resolution No. 2003-172 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 5,000 tons of stone for various Service Departmerrt needs, as per specifications on file in his office, and authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval by the Board of Control, if necessary, to enter into a contract for same and declaring an emergency. Councilman Nashar moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2003-172 adopted. Resolution No. 2003-174 introduced by Councilman McKay was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into athree- year agreement with SBC providing for the city to participate in SBC's Valuelink program and receive volume discounts for phone use.
