Council Minutes of 1/6/2004 <br />Ordinance No. 2003-162 introduced by Councilmen Limpert and Gareau was given its <br />third reading. An ordinance establishing within the Special Revenue Fund group a <br />"Building and Land Acquisition and Improvement Fund" of the City of North Olmsted, <br />and directing that the net proceeds received by the city from the sale of the "Old Library" <br />building at 27425 Butternut Ridge Road be paid into said Special Revenue Fund, and <br />declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption, and the <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau. Roll call: Limpert, yes; Gareau, yes; <br />Kasler, yes; Nashaz, no; McKay, no; Miller, no; Dailey, yes. The motion passed with <br />four yeas and three nays. Ordinance No. 2003-162 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2003-168 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 5,000 tons <br />of asphalt and tack coating for various streets in the City of North Olmsted, as per <br />specifications on file in his office, and authorizing the Mayor, subject to the approval by <br />the Board of Control, if necessary, to enter into a contract for same and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2003-168 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2003-171 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for cracksealing <br />on various streets in the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications on file in his office, <br />and authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval by the Board of Control, if necessary, to <br />enter into a contract for same and declazing an emergency. Councilman Nashar moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 2003-171 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2003-172 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 5,000 tons <br />of stone for various Service Departmerrt needs, as per specifications on file in his office, <br />and authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval by the Board of Control, if necessary, to <br />enter into a contract for same and declaring an emergency. Councilman Nashar moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 2003-172 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2003-174 introduced by Councilman McKay was given its third reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into athree- <br />year agreement with SBC providing for the city to participate in SBC's Valuelink <br />program and receive volume discounts for phone use. Councilman McKay moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashaz and passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 2003-174 adopted. <br />:. <br />6 <br />
