Council Minutes of 12/6/2005 <br />Ordinance No. 2005-170 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the <br />City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2006. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-171 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance moving the Division of Springvale Golf Course from the Department of <br />Public Safety to the Department of Community Life Services, and clarifying the <br />organizational chart for the division. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-172 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Tallon. An ordinance authorizing the Director of Finance to request proposals from <br />certified public accountants to provide GAAP conversion services for the preparation and <br />implementation of the 2005 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR); and <br />further authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the professional selected in <br />the RFP process and approved by the Board of Control. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-173 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance accepting a traffic signal loop detector maintenance easement on real <br />property owned by Norcar Company, LLC, on Brookpark Road and identified as <br />Permanent Parcel Number 236-OS-001. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-174 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance amending Section 159.03 of Chapter 159 of the Administrative Code <br />(Cultural Activities Commission) for the purpose of changing the length of the terms of <br />members appointed to the said Commission from one year to five years, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2005-175 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Ryan on behalf of himself and Councilmen Orlowski and Barker. A resolution to inform <br />individuals who would like to video broadcast Council meetings that City Council would <br />be receptive to such a procedure. <br />Resolution No. 2005-176 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Ryan on behalf of himself and Councilmen Orlowski and Nashar. A resolution <br />requesting utility companies to try to trim trees in such a way as to fit into their natural <br />setting. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-177 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted of <br />amendments to Article V, Sections 4, 5, and 6, and Article VII, Section 3, of the Charter <br />of the City of North Olmsted in order to transfer the Division of Parks and Recreation, <br />and the responsibilities for the management of said division, from the Department of <br />Public Safety to the Department of Community Life Services, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br /> <br />14 <br />.~~~~ <br />- .. ~.. k. <br />
