Council Minutes of 11/15/2005 <br />two year agreement with Bob's Ice Cream, Inc., DBA Quality Quick Snacks, providing <br />for vending and video game machines at the North Olmsted Recreation Center. <br />Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Nashar and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2005-150 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2005-151 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for the purchase <br />of Recreation software, as per specifications on file in the office of the Recreation <br />Commissioner, and authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval by the Board of Control, if <br />necessary, to enter into a contract for same. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 2005-151 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-152 introduced by Council Members Barker, Ryan and Orlowski <br />was given its third reading. An ordinance amending Section 351.12 of Chapter 351 <br />(Parking Generally) of the Traffic Code, entitled "All-night Parking Restricted," in order <br />to prohibit parking overnight on tree lawns and berms located immediately adjacent to <br />streets without curbs, as amended. Councilman Ryan moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Orlowski and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2005- <br />152 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-132 introduced by Mayor O'Grady and Councilman Gareau was <br />given its second reading. An ordinance changing the official name of the Department of <br />Personnel and Administrative Services, as created and established in Chapter 167 of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, to the Department of Human <br />Resources. Councilman Gareau moved for suspension of the rule requiring three <br />readings and noted the legislation had been reviewed in committee. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Councilman Gareau moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-132 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2005-149 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for the purchase <br />of Fire mobile data terminals, in station and in vehicle mapping, AVL systems and a <br />mobile wireless network, all for the purpose of upgrading the existing Police/Fire CAD <br />system, as per specifications on file in the office of the Director of Public Safety, and <br />authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval by the Board of Control, if necessary, to enter <br />into a contract for same and declaring an emergency. Councilman Miller moved for <br />suspension of the rule requiring three readings and noted the legislation had been <br />reviewed by committee and reported out. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Barker and passed unanimously. Councilman Miller moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Tallon and passed unanimously.
