Ordinance <br />Ordinance No. 2005-105 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2005-SS in order to provide for the property maintenance <br />inspector position created by said Ordinance to be a part-time, rather than seasonal, position in <br />the organizational chart of the Building Department, and declaring an emergency. Councilman <br />Gareau moved for adoption, and the motion was seconded by Councilman Barker. Roll call: <br />Gareau, yes; Barker, yes; Miller, yes; Ryan, no; Tallon, yes; Orlowski, yes; Nashar, yes. The <br />motion passed with six yes votes and one no vote. Ordinance No. 2005-105 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-106 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section One of Ordinance No. 2004-104, which previously amended <br />Ordinance No. 2004-18, in order to remove the maximum dollar cap in the contract that <br />authorized the retention of the law firm of Johnson, Angelo & Colaluea, LLC, as outside labor <br />counsel to assist the city in labor related matters, and further ratifying and approving all <br />payments made to date to said law firm. Councilman Tallon moved for adoption, and the motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Gareau. Roll call: Tallon, yes; Gareau, yes; Miller, yes; Barker, <br />no; Nashar, yes; Ryan, yes with comment that he has had the opportunity to review the financial <br />records of the City of North Olmsted, and he wishes to personally compliment the Law Dept., <br />specifically James Dubelko because of the excellent job he has done to control the money spent <br />in his department. He certainly deserves Council's trust in this matter, and that's why he is <br />voting yes. Roll call continued: Orlowski, yes. The motion passed with six yes votes and one <br />no vote. Ordinance No. 2005-106 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-107 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. A <br />resolution adopting the alternative tax budget of the City of North Olmsted for the fiscal year <br />beginning January 1, 2006, and submitting the same to the County Auditor, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Tallon moved for adoption, and the motion was seconded by Barker. <br />Roll call: Tallon, yes; Barker, yes; Orlowski, yes; Nashar, yes; Gareau, yes; Ryan, yes; Miller, <br />no. The motion passed with six yes votes and one no vote. Ordinance No. 2005-107 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-110 introduced by Councilman Barker on behalf of himself and <br />Councilmen Ryan, Miller and Gareau was given its third reading. An ordinance providing for <br />the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted of an amendment to Article VII, <br />Section 3 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to remove the requirement that Council's <br />representative to the Parks and Recreation Commission be a Council Member at Large, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Miller moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2005-110 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-111 introduced by Councilman Miller on behalf of himself and Councilmen <br />Ryan and Barker was given its third reading. An ordinance providing for the submission to the <br />electors of the City of North Olmsted of an amendment to Article X, Section 4 of the Charter of <br />the City of North Olmsted so as to provide for recall elections in North Olmsted to proceed in <br />accordance with state law recall procedure, and declaring an emergency.
