<br />Council Minutes of 9/6/2005 <br />Resolution No. 2005-128 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to submit an application for State of Ohio Issue 2 Infrastructure <br />Bond Program funding for Gessner Road water main replacement and storm sewer construction <br />from Columbia Road to Walter Road and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-129 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. An <br />ordinance granting a storm sewer easement located on property owned by the City of North <br />Olmsted, and designated as Permanent Parcel Number 231-32-005 by Cuyahoga County Maps <br />and Records, to the North Olmsted Assembly of God Church, said easement shown on Exhibit <br />«A „ <br />Ordinance No. 2005-130 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. An <br />ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2005 <br />Ordinance No. 2005-131 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Gareau. An <br />ordinance changing the official name of the Department of Human Resources, as established and <br />created by Article V, Section 6 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, to the Department of <br />Community Life Services. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-132 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Gareau on <br />behalf of himself and Mayor O'Grady. An ordinance changing the official name of the <br />Department of Personnel and Administrative Services, as created and established in Chapter 163 <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, to the Department of Human <br />Resources. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-133 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Nashar on <br />behalf of himself and Councilman Gareau. An ordinance amending Section 1363.07 of Chapter <br />1363 of the Real Property Maintenance Code, entitled "Duties and Responsibilities of Owners <br />and Operators," in order to permit residents to store trash containers in side yard areas that are <br />visible from the right of way. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-134 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to renew the contract between the city and Karrie Skall Tipton <br />for the provision of professional gymnastics instruction services at the North Olmsted Recreation <br />Center for an additional two (2) years and declaring an emergency. Councilman Miller moved <br />for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review and noted it had been <br />discussed during caucus. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar. Roll call: Miller, <br />yes; Nashar, yes; Gareau, yes; Barker, yes; Orlowski, no; Ryan, yes, with comment that he <br />understands this was budgeted for. Roll call continued: Tallon, yes. The motion passed with six <br />yes votes and one no vote. Councilman Miller moved for adoption, and the motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Nashar. Roll call: Miller, yes; Nashar, yes; Orlowski, no; Barker, yes; <br />Gareau, yes; Ryan, yes; Tallon, yes.
