Council Minutes of 5/17/2005 <br />Roll call continued: Nashar, yes; Tallon, yes; McKay, yes; Dailey, yes; Gareau, yes. The <br />motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2005-66 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2005-67 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for catch basin, <br />manhole, sidewalk, curbing, concrete step and concrete pavement repairs at various <br />locations in the Sandy Ridge Subdivision, Senior Citizens Center and Police Department <br />in the City of North Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder for said repairs, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Nashar moved for suspension of the rule requiring <br />three readings and noted the legislation had been discussed in committee. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman McKay and passed unanimously. Councilman Nashar <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman McKay. Roll call: <br />Nashar, yes; McKay, yes; Gareau, yes; Limpert, yes, commenting again that he would <br />like to thank the administration and all of Council for these needed repairs. Roll call <br />continued: Tallon, yes; Dailey, yes. The motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. <br />2005-67 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2005-68 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 5,000 tons <br />of stone for various Service Department needs, as per specifications on file in his office, <br />and authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval by the Board of Control, if necessary, to <br />enter into a contract for same and declaring an emergency. Councilman Nashar moved <br />for suspension of the rule requiring three readings and noted the legislation had been <br />discussed in committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman McKay and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Nashar moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman McKay and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2005-68 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2005-69 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids far 5,000 tons <br />of asphalt and tack coating for various streets in the City of North Olmsted, as per <br />specifications on file in his office, and authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval by the <br />Board of Control, if necessary, to enter into a contract for same and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Nashar moved for suspension of the rule requiring three <br />readings and noted the legislation had been discussed in committee. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman McKay and passed unanimously. Councilman Nashar moved <br />for adoption. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />transportation and disposal of bio-solids from the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and <br />authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval by the Board of Control, if necessary, to enter <br />into a contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2005-72 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a renewed one-year service contract with <br />Stephen Campbell & Associates, Inc., for maintenance of the 32 channel optical <br />17 <br />
