• Council Minutes of 4/19/2005 <br />„~,.,,, Ordinance No. 2005-52 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gareau. An ordinance amending Section 141.09 of the Administrative Code, entitled <br />"Administrative Motor Vehicle Pool" in order to permit the Mayor to take home <br />overnight and over weekends the city vehicle assigned to his use from the administrative <br />motor vehicle pool, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Gazeau moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Councilman Gazeau moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 2005-52 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-53 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance amending the range of compensation rates and salary ranges for the <br />various administrative and legislative personnel in order to establish a range of <br />compensation for the newly created position in the Division of Springvale, entitled <br />"Assistant Course/Facility Maintenance Supervisor"; otherwise re-stating the <br />compensation rate ranges for said various administrative and legislative personnel for the <br />years 2004 through 2007, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Dailey and passed unanimously. Councilman Limpert moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Dailey and passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-53 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-54 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gareau. An ordinance amending Section 131.01 of the Administrative Code, entitled <br />"Mayor's Contract Authority," in order to increase the Mayor's limited authority to <br />execute contracts involving expenditures from two thousand dollars or less to five <br />thousand dollars or less. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-55 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance amending the organizational chart of the Building Division of the <br />Department of Public Safety for the purpose of adding one seasonal property <br />maintenance inspector position, one part-time back-up electrical inspector, and one part- <br />time back-up plumbing inspector, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Kasler <br />moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Dailey and passed unanimously. Councilwoman <br />Kasler moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Dailey and passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 2005-55 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-56 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance amending the range of compensation rates and salary ranges for the various <br />administrative and legislative personnel, in order to establish a range of compensation for <br />the newly created seasonal position in the Division of Building entitled "Property <br />Maintenance Inspector"; otherwise re-stating the compensation rate ranges for said <br />various administrative and legislative personnel for the years 2004 through 2007 as <br />established in the most recent amendment to the salary range ordinance, and declaring an <br />emergency.
