<br />Ordinance No. 2005-31 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady.
<br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $1,270,000 of notes, in anticipation
<br />of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of improving certain designated streets in the city,
<br />in cooperation with the Ohio Department of Transportation and otherwise, by grading,
<br />draining, widening, replacing sections of pavement, preparing the surface, surfacing and
<br />resurfacing, constructing and reconstructing sextions of the pavement base, curbs, gutters,
<br />catch basins, sidewalks and driveway approaches and installing traffic signs, signalization
<br />and signalization systems, where necessary, in each case together with the necessary
<br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto, and declaring an emergency. Councilman
<br />Limpert moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review
<br />and noted that Council was in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's certificate. The motion was
<br />seconded by Councilman Nashaz. Roil call: Limpert, yes; Nashaz, yes; Miller, no;
<br />McKay, yes; Dailey, yes; Gazeau, yes. The motion passed with five yes votes and one no
<br />vote. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption, and the motion was seconded by
<br />Councilman Nashar. Roll call: Limpert, yes; Nashaz, yes; Gazeau, yes; Dailey, yes;
<br />McKay, yes; Miller, yes, commenting his previous no vote was made as he would prefer
<br />to see this go into committee to discuss the details. Ordinance No. 2005-31 adopted.
<br />Ordinance No. 2005-32 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady.
<br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $1,065,000 of notes, in anticipation
<br />of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of improving certain designated streets in the city,
<br />in cooperation with Cuyahoga County and otherwise, by grading, draining, widening,
<br />replacing sections of concrete pavement, preparing the surface and surfacing and
<br />resurfacing, and constructing and reconstructing sidewalks, manholes, catch basins and
<br />driveway approaches, where necessary, in each case together with the necessary
<br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto, and declaring an emergency. Councilman
<br />Limpert moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review
<br />and noted Council was in receipt of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. The motion was
<br />seconded by Councilman Nashaz and passed unanimously. Councilman Limpert moved
<br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashaz and passed unanimously.

<br />Ordinance No. 2005-33 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady.
<br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $550,000 of notes in anticipation of
<br />the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of acquiring emergency rescue squad and other motor
<br />vehicles and related equipment for the city's Fire Department, and declaring an
<br />emergency. Councilman Limpert moved for suspension of the rules requiring three
<br />readings and committee review and noted that Council was in receipt of the Fiscal
<br />Officer's Certificate. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashaz and passed
<br />unanimously. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by
<br />Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2005-33 adopted.
<br />Ordinance No. 2005-34 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady.
<br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $300,000 of notes, in anticipation of
<br />the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of acquiring and installing computers and related
<br />® equipment and software for financial and administrative systems management, and
