Council Minutes of 1/4/2005 <br />Ordinance No. 2004-190 introduced by Councilwoman Kasler on behalf of Mayor Musial <br />and the entire Council was given its third reading. An ordinance establishing and fixing <br />the compensation for the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted for the term of <br />office commencing January 1, 2006 and ending December 31, 2009 and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilwoman Kasler moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2004-190 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2004-195 introduced by Councilwoman Kasler was given its third <br />reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids <br />from licensed electrical contractors for basic electrical services to meet the various needs <br />of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and authorizing the Mayor, upon approval by the <br />Board of Control, to execute a contract with the lowest and best bidder for said services. <br />Councilwoman Kasler moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Nashar and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2004-195 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-197 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to request proposals from <br />professional land surveyors for land surveying services for the new Fire Station No. 2 <br />project, further authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to <br />enter into a contract with the land surveying firm selected in the RFP process, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Miller moved for suspension of the rule requiring <br />three readings and noted the legislation had been reviewed by committee. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilwoman Kasler and passed unanimously. Councilman Miller <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Kasler and passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 2004-197 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-199 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to request proposals from <br />professional architects for design services for the new Fire Station No. 2 project, further <br />authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a <br />contract with the architectural firm selected in the RFP process, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Miller moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings <br />and noted the legislation had been reviewed in committee. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to purchase three (3) new Crown <br />Victoria Interceptor cruisers and one (1) Excursion, and related Police equipment, for the <br />North Olmsted Police Department through the State Purchase Program; further <br />authorizing the Mayor to execute all necessary contract documents; and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Miller moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings <br />and noted the legislation had been reviewed by committee.
