Council Minutes of 12/5/2006 <br />Ordinance No. 2005-165 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. <br />~' An ordinance amending Chapter 149 of the Administrative Code ("Planning <br />Commission"), repealing Chapter 1125 of the Zoning Code ("Architectural Review <br />Board"), and amending Chapter 1126 of the Zoning Code (Commercial and Other <br />Building Permits), in order to effectuate the affirmative vote of the North Olmsted <br />electorate at the November 2005 general election upon Issue 97 (Charter amendment <br />proposal relating to new Planning & Design Commission). <br />Ordinance No. 2006-187 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading as <br />amended. An ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and <br />other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2006 <br />as amended. Councilman Tallon moved for suspension of the rule requiring three <br />readings noting the legislation had been heard in committee. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. Councilman Tallon moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No 2006-187 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-188 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the <br />City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2007. Councilman Tallon <br />moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. Ordinance No <br />2006-188 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2006-190 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of a maximum of 70,000 gallons of sodium aluminate for atwenty-four month <br />period, for use by the Wastewater Treatment Plant for phosphate removal, and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Councilman <br />Miller moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. Councilman Miller moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 2006-190 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2006-191 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to purchase six (6) new Crown <br />Victoria Interceptor Cruisers, and related Police equipment, for the North Olmsted Police <br />Department through the State purchase program; further authorizing the Mayor to <br />execute all necessary documents in connection with said purchase; and declaring an <br />emergency. <br /> <br />11 <br />
