Council Minutes of 12/5/2006 Ordinance No. 2005-165 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. ~' An ordinance amending Chapter 149 of the Administrative Code ("Planning Commission"), repealing Chapter 1125 of the Zoning Code ("Architectural Review Board"), and amending Chapter 1126 of the Zoning Code (Commercial and Other Building Permits), in order to effectuate the affirmative vote of the North Olmsted electorate at the November 2005 general election upon Issue 97 (Charter amendment proposal relating to new Planning & Design Commission). Ordinance No. 2006-187 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading as amended. An ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2006 as amended. Councilman Tallon moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings noting the legislation had been heard in committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2006-188 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2007. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the purchase of a maximum of 70,000 gallons of sodium aluminate for atwenty-four month period, for use by the Wastewater Treatment Plant for phosphate removal, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Miller moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. Councilman Miller moved for adoption. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to purchase six (6) new Crown Victoria Interceptor Cruisers, and related Police equipment, for the North Olmsted Police Department through the State purchase program; further authorizing the Mayor to execute all necessary documents in connection with said purchase; and declaring an emergency. 11
