Council Minutes of 10/17/2006 <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 2006-130 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance amending Section 1126.09 of the Zoning Code in order to change the <br />procedure for reviewing proposed minor changes to approved development proposals as <br />amended. Councilman Talton moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Council Member Dailey Jones and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2006-130 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-135 introduced by Councilman Miller on behalf of himself and <br />Council Member Dailey Jones and Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance creating new Chapter 1142 (Residential Office District) of the North Olmsted <br />Zoning Code in order to establish a new district of permitted uses as amended. Council <br />Member Dailey Jones moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Miller and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2006-135 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2006-160 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading as <br />amended. A resolution authorizing the Director of Community Life Services to advertise <br />for bids for cleaning services at the Recreation Center and for restrooms only at North <br />Olmsted Park and BartonBradley Park, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract for said cleaning services with the lowest and best bidder, subject to approval by <br />the Board of Control and declaring an emergency as amended. Councilman Barker <br />moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by <br />Council Member Dailey Jones and passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Council Member Dailey Jones and passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 2006-160 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-165 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading as <br />amended. An ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and <br />other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2006 <br />as amended. Councilman Talton moved for suspension of the rule requiring three <br />readings and noted the legislation had been reviewed in committee. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. Councilman Talton moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-165 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2006-167 introduced by Mayor O'Grady on behalf of himself and <br />Council Members Barker and Dailey Jones was given its second reading. A resolution <br />authorizing and directing the Director of Planning to make application on behalf of the <br />City of North Olmsted for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the <br />fiscal year 2007 for a project to conduct an assessment of city facilities and services for <br />compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Ryan maned for suspension of the rule requiring three readings. <br />The motion was seconded by Council Member Dailey Jones and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Ryan moved for adoption, and the motion was seconded by Council Member <br />Dailey Jones.
