Council Minutes of 5/16/2006 <br />,~~.. Ordinance No. 2006-10$ was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />^~,; An ordinance amending Sections 1, 3 and 9 of Ordinance No. 2006-31 to extend the <br />period during which the bonds authorized thereby may be issued, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Tallon moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker <br />and passed unanimously. Councilman Tallon moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 200b-108 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-109 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance amending Sections 1, 3 and 9 of Ordinance No. 2006-32 to extend the <br />period during which the bonds authorized thereby may be issued, and declaring an <br />emergency. Ordinance No. 2006-109 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2006-110 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution extending the agreement with Mayfield Engineering & Construction <br />Management, Inc. to provide temporary engineering consulting services to the city's <br />Engineering Division for an additional three month period, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Tallon moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and formal <br />committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Tallon moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2006-110 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-111 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to request proposals from qualified persons and/or <br />firms to provide professional labor negotiator services for the years 2006-2007; and <br />further authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, to enter into <br />an agreement with the labor negotiator and/or firm selected in the RFP process. <br />Resolution No. 2006-112 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady <br />on behalf of himself and the entire City Council. A resolution to adopt the Solid Waste <br />Management Plan for the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste Management District. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-113 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gareau. An ordinance amending Section 1 of Ordinance No. 97-34, which established <br />the Hotel/Motel Tax Fund, in order to expand the purposes for which monies in the said <br />fund maybe expended. <br /> <br />19 <br />
