With regard to the chipper
and brush pick-up program, he inquired as to the timeframe for requests; he inquired as to
the use of the crack sealing machine. Service Director Limpert said that, at this time of
year, it generally takes about two weeks to respond to chipper requests. However,
residents can put out bundled brush in 3 foot lengths for trash pick-up. The crack sealing
machine is out an average of 2/3 days a week. This is a manpower issue as Service is not
as large a unit as it was 5-10 years ago.
Councilman Ryan inquired about the disposal of latex paint. Service Director Limpert
said residents should let the latex paint dry out by removing the lids and then put it in the
regular trash pick-up.
~~,
Z
~~~~
,.
~~,. x
