Council Minutes of 5/3/2006 <br />1307 and 1309 of the North Olmsted Building Code for the purpose of adopting the 2004 <br />Residential Code of Ohio for One-, Two-, and Three-Family Dwellings, and to eliminate <br />conflicts between the new State code and the City's local Building Code. Councilman <br />Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 2006-79 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2005-158 introduced by Councilman Orlowski was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance amending Section 555.03 of Chapter 555 (Noise Control) of the <br />General Offenses Code, entitled "Specific Prohibitions," in order to regulate snow <br />storage operations on commercial property located near residences, as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-56 introduced by Council Members Miller, Ryan, Orlowski, Talton, <br />Dailey Jones and Barker was given its second reading. An ordinance creating new <br />Section 533.16 of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances, entitled "Registered <br />Offenders -Local Regulations," in order to locally regulate residency and other <br />enumerated activities in North Olmsted of persons who are required to register under any <br />provision contained in Ohio Revised Code Chapter 2950, and declaring an emergency, as <br />amended. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-84 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance creating new Section 139.09 of Chapter 139 of the Administrative Code <br />entitled "Department of Public Safety," for the purpose of transferring the position and <br />duties of "Assistant Director of Community Life Services," and two support staff <br />positions, from the Department of Community Life Services to the Department of Public <br />Safety, renaming the position "Youth Services Administrator," and establishing a new <br />division in the Department of Public Safety headed by' that newly renamed position as <br />amended. <br />Resolution No. 2006-85 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio (hereinafter <br />referred to as the Local Public Agency, LPA), in the matter of the stated described project <br />(resurface Lorain Road (SR-10) from Brookpark Road to the east corporation line, a <br />distance of 2.47 miles more or less in the City of North Olmsted), and declaring an <br />emergency, as amended. Council Member Dailey Jones moved for suspension of the rule <br />requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed <br />unanimously.
