Council Minutes of 4/18/2006 Resolution No. 2006-66 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. A resolution creating a new Citizens' Committee for the purpose of gathering and presenting to City Council pro}ects for consideration for the city's Comrnuruty Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications far fiscal years 2007 through 2009. Councilman Ryan moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Council Member Dailey Jones and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2006-66 adopted. Resolution No. 2005-188 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a renewed one-year contract with LK Heating & Cooling Inc. to perform maintenance upon the heating and cooling equipment at various city buildings, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings and noted the legislation had been reviewed by committee. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Arrow Uniform Rental Limited Partnership to provide uniform rental services to the city's Service and Fleet Maintenance employees and declaring an emergency as amended. Councilman Tallon moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings and noted the legislation had been through committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2006-79 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. An ordinance amending, deleting, and creating new sections in Chapters 1301, 1303, 1305, 1307 and 1309 of the North Olmsted Building Code for the purpose of adopting the 2004 Residential Code of Ohio f©r One-, Two-, and Three-Family Dwellings, and to eliminate conflicts between the new State code and the City's local Building Code. Resolution No. 2006-81 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A resolution to oppose Constitutional tax and expenditure limitation proposals (TABOR and similar proposal), and declaring an emergency. Councilman Ryan moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings and noted the legislation had been reviewed by committee and recommended for approval.
