Council Minutes of 4/18/2006 <br />Resolution No. 2006-66 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. A <br />resolution creating a new Citizens' Committee for the purpose of gathering and <br />presenting to City Council pro}ects for consideration for the city's Comrnuruty <br />Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications far fiscal years 2007 through 2009. <br />Councilman Ryan moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Council Member <br />Dailey Jones and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2006-66 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2005-188 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a renewed one-year contract with LK <br />Heating & Cooling Inc. to perform maintenance upon the heating and cooling equipment <br />at various city buildings, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Barker moved for <br />suspension of the rule requiring three readings and noted the legislation had been <br />reviewed by committee. The motion was seconded by Council Member Dailey 3ones and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman Barker moved for adoption. The motion was seconded <br />by Council Member Dailey Jones and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2005-I88 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2006-73 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Arrow Uniform Rental <br />Limited Partnership to provide uniform rental services to the city's Service and Fleet <br />Maintenance employees and declaring an emergency as amended. Councilman Tallon <br />moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings and noted the legislation had <br />been through committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Tallon moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2006-73 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2006-79 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending, deleting, and creating new sections in Chapters 1301, 1303, 1305, <br />1307 and 1309 of the North Olmsted Building Code for the purpose of adopting the 2004 <br />Residential Code of Ohio f©r One-, Two-, and Three-Family Dwellings, and to eliminate <br />conflicts between the new State code and the City's local Building Code. <br />Resolution No. 2006-81 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution to oppose Constitutional tax and expenditure limitation proposals (TABOR <br />and similar proposal), and declaring an emergency. Councilman Ryan moved for <br />suspension of the rule requiring three readings and noted the legislation had been <br />reviewed by committee and recommended for approval. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Councilman Ryan moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously.
