0 <br />Council Minutes of 6/19/2007 <br />Ordinance No. 2007-63 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance creating new Section 111.011 of the Administrative Code, entitled "City Police <br />Towing and Storage Contracts," in order to authorize the Mayor to execute towing and <br />storage contracts with towing contractors who meet North Olmsted Police Department <br />rules and regulations. Councilman Barker moved for adoption, and the motion was <br />seconded by Council Member Jones. Roll call: Barker, yes; Jones, yes; Orlowski, no; <br />Ryan, no; Gareau, yes; Tallon, no. As there were three yes votes and three no votes, <br />President Kennedy cast a yes vote to break the tie. The motion passed with four yes <br />votes and three no votes. Ordinance No. 2007-63 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-38 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance creating new Chapter 913 of the Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code, <br />entitled "Fats, Oils and Grease -Interceptor Installation and Waste Disposal," and <br />amending Section 911.12(c)(3) and repealing Section 911.12(e) of the North Olmsted <br />Codified Ordinances, as amended. Councilman Tallon moved for suspension of the rule <br />requiring three readings noting the legislation had been heard in committee. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Orlowski and passed unanimously. Councilman Tallon <br />moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Orlowski and passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 2007-38 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2007-65 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the purchase <br />of five thousand (5,000) tons of stone for various Service Department needs throughout <br />the city, as detailed in the specifications on file, further authorizing the Mayor to enter <br />into a contract with the lowest and best bidder for said purchase, after Board of Control <br />approval, and declaring an emergency.
