Council Minutes of 6/19!2007 <br />Councilman Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Council Member <br />Jones and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2007-74 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-75 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the acceptance of an access easement for the "hammerhead" <br />terminus of Kennedy Ridge Road, located on property owned by Greater Cleveland <br />Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA), and as further described and recorded on the <br />Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Gareau <br />moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings noting the legislation had been <br />reviewed in committee. Ordinance No. 2007-75 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-76 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance accepting a water main easement located on property owned by Greater <br />Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA), as further described and recorded on the <br />Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Gareau <br />moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings noting the legislation had been <br />reviewed in committee. Ordinance No. 2007-76 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-77 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2007. <br />Resolution No. 2007-78 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to submit an application for State of Ohio Issue 1 <br />Infrastructure Bond Program funding for Dover Center Road resurfacing from Butternut <br />Ridge Road to the Westlake corporation line and for Fitch Road repaving from the <br />corporation line at Olmsted Township to Butternut Ridge Road and further to accept said <br />funding if awarded, subject to all terms and conditions, including the city's portion of <br />costs, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Tallon moved for suspension of the <br />rules requiring three readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Ryan and passed unanimously. Councilman Tallon moved for adoption, and <br />the motion was seconded by Councilman Ryan. Roll call: Tallon, yes; Ryan, yes, with <br />comment that he thinks the administration should be complimented on this. This is very <br />exciting to see we have the option to receive these kind of funds to repair our major <br />streets. Roll call continued: Orlowski, yes; Jones, yes; Barker, yes; Gareau, yes. The <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2007-78 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-79 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance extending for a sixty day period the temporary, part-time Fire <br />Administrator position in the North Olmsted Fire Department created by Ordinance No. <br />2006-157, and declaring an emergency.
