Council Minutes of 2/7/2007 <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2007-12 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council Member <br />Dailey Jones. A resolution proclaiming April as Fair Housing Month in North Olmsted, <br />Ohio. <br />Resolution No. 2007-13 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a renewed one-year service contract for <br />the term January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007 with TAC .Computer Inc., in order <br />to provide maintenance and repair services for various computer hardware and software <br />at the Police Department and declaring an emergency. Councilman Orlowski moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review and noted the <br />ordinance had been previously discussed this evening. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Miller. Roll call: Orlowski, yes; Miller, yes; Jones; yes; Tallon yes; Ryan, <br />yes; Gareau, no; Barker, yes. The motion passed with six yes votes and one no vote. <br />Councilman Miller moved for adoption, and the motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Orlowski. The motion passed with six yes votes and one no vote. <br />Resolution No. 2007-13 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2007-14 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a renewed agreement with Cuyahoga <br />County Juvenile Court in connection with the Community Diversion Program which <br />addresses juvenile misdemeanor and status offenders in the City of North Olmsted, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman Tallon moved for suspension of the rules requiring <br />three readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau <br />and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2007-14 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2007-15 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Safety to request proposals for plans <br />examiner and back-up plans examiner services; and further authorizing the Mayor, <br />subject to approval of the Board of Control, to enter into atwo-year agreement with the <br />examiners selected in the RFP process. <br />Resolution No. 2007-16 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing adoption of the updated mitigation plan prepared by the <br />Cuyahoga County Division of Emergency Services and entitled the "Countywide All <br />Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan for Cuyahoga County," as required by the Disaster <br />Mitigation Act of 2000, and declaring an emergency. <br />19 <br />
