Council Minutes of 2/7/2007 <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Ryan. scheduled an nira-Governmental Relations Committee meeting for <br />Friday, February 16, 2007 at 7 p.tn. to discuss Resolutions 2007-12, 2007-16; time <br />allotment for audience participation; committee reports. The Mayor and Law Director <br />are asked to attend. :Mayor O'Grady will. provide the updated changes to the county <br />mitigation plan for the committee to review. <br />Councilman Barker scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee <br />meeting for 7 p.m, on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 to discuss Ordinance 2007-7. The <br />Planning Director, Law Director, Finance Director, Mayor and Service Director are asked <br />to attend.. <br />Councilman Tallon scheduled a Finance Conm--ittee meeting for 6:50 p.m. on Monday, <br />February 12, 2007 to discuss Ordinance 2007-9. The Finance Director, Mayor, Law <br />Director and Service Director are asked to attend. <br />President Kennedy announced a special. Council meeting for 6:55 p.m. on Monday, <br />February 12. Ordinance 2007-9 will be on the agenda for second reading. <br />The Cleveland Water Department will make a presentation to the Committee-of-the- <br />Whole at 7 p.m. on Monday, February 12. <br />Councilman Orlowski scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting <br />to immediately follow the Recreation Committee on February 13. The committee will <br />discuss Resolution. 2007-11. <br />Cauncilman Gareau commented, as a point of clarification, he and the Clerk had been <br />working to remedy a problem that occurred when the audio tape went out at the <br />December 19, 2006 Council meeting. It was discovered that his motions coming out of <br />the BZD Committee report were not framed in the minutes. The Clerk had them <br />recorded, but the motions weren't framed. and. she didn't have it in a proper format with. <br />which she felt comfortable. He wants to correct the minutes to reflect the motions which. <br />were made during his report. Councilman Gareau made a motion to amend the minutes <br />of December 1.9, 2006 to include the following: Under Third. Federal Savings, <br />"Cauncilman Gareau moved to approve the proposal to demolish. and construct a new <br />bank building for Third Federal Savings, 26949 Lorain Road, subject to the <br />recommendations of the various boards and commissions and. further subject to the <br />following: 1) landscape plan to be modified to add additional landscaping on the <br />southern mound to fill in the gaps and provide additional screening as follows: 3 <br />additional plantings; 2) roof top screening to be charcoal; 3) southernmost 4 lights on the <br />plan are to be shielded from the southwest corner to the southeast corner on the south side <br />(residential side). The motion was seconded by Councilman Orlowski and passed <br />unanimously." Under North Olmsted Old Towne Center, "Councilman Gareau moved to <br />approve the proposed amendment to approved landscape plans for North Olmsted Town <br />Center, 24642-25174 Brookpark Road, subject to the recommendations of Planning & <br />Design Commission and further subject to the requirement that the applicant clean debris <br />20 <br />~YF~ ~. <br />
