But it also shows projections that the cost could be <br />recapitalized quickly. And so the, it remains a matter of discussion. We now have more <br />information to discuss it with. But it is being considered, and discussions continue <br />between our two communities. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 2008-120 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance dispensing with an RFP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with Johnson, Miller & Schmitz LLP providing for the latter to continue to serve <br />as the city's labor negotiator, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-121 introduced by Mayor O'Grady on behalf of himself and <br />Councilman Ryan was given its second reading. An ordinance to make and transfer <br />appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted <br />for the year ending December 31, 2008. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-122 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Barker on behalf of Councilman Ryan. An ordinance amending Section 505.08 of <br />Chapter 505 of the General Offenses Code entitled "Animals and Fowl," in order to <br />restrict the number of dogs that maybe kept on residential lots in the city. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-123 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Mahoney on behalf of the entire City Council. An ordinance to revise the Codified <br />Ordinances by adopting current replacement pages; and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Mahoney moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Mahoney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Orlowski and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2008-123 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-124 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2008. <br />Resolution No. 2008-125 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission <br />and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Auditor. <br />Resolution No. 2008-126 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Planning to make application on behalf of the <br />City of North Olmsted for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds for the <br />Fiscal Year 2009 for a project to make ADA improvements to the North Olmsted Senior <br />Center, Community Cabin and North Olmsted Park; further authorizing the use of city <br />funds as the local match; further authorizing the Mayor to accept the grant if awarded; <br />declaring an emergency. <br />10 <br />
