<br />Council Minutes of 2/5/2008 <br />~:, <br />Computer Inc. in order to provide maintenance and repair services to computer hardware <br />and software in the North Olmsted Fire Department, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Ryan moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Ryan moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2007-16 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-17 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance amending Sections 1139.01, 1145.01, and 1145.03 of the Zoning Code in <br />order to establish regulations providing for the location of recycling facilities and <br />recycling collection centers in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-18 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zoning Map of the City of North <br />Olmsted by rezoning Permanent Parcel Number 234-20-049, located at 5764 Stearns <br />Road, from its current zoning classification of One Family Residence District use to <br />General Retail Business District use. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-19 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Ryan. <br />An ordinance amending Section 505.08 of Chapter 505 of the General Offenses Code <br />entitled "Animals and Fowl," in order to restrict the number of dogs that may be kept on <br />residential lots in the city. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-20 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance amending section 931.10 (grade deposits for commercial developments) of <br />Chapter 931 of the North Olmsted streets, utilities and public services code in order to <br />increase engineering and inspection fees, and establish a new method for calculating <br />grade deposit amounts, for commercial developments. <br />Resolution No. 2008-21 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady <br />on behalf of himself and the entire City Council. A resolution authorizing the Mayor of <br />the City of North Olmsted, in cooperation with the Olmsted Historical Society and in <br />conjunction with the Landmarks Commission, to file an application with the Ohio <br />Historical Society for approval of an Ohio historical designation marker for the Joseph <br />Peake Farm; and providing authority for the installation of such marker within the city <br />right of way; and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2008-22 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. <br />An ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2008. <br />Councilman Ryan moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed <br />unanimously. Terry Smith, Fairfax Lane asked why a reason was not given for <br />suspending the rules. Councilman Ryan explained this was not the annual budget but <br />legislation to keep the city running until the budget was complete. Finance Director <br />Copfer added there were a couple of issues that came up that weren't anticipated in the <br />12 <br />
