Council Minutes of 1/15/2008 <br />order to create a "Do Not Knock Registry" and to update various other provisions of this <br />Chapter of the Business Regulation Code, as amended. <br />Resolution No. 2007-149 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into one-year renewal contracts with TAC <br />Computer Inc. in order to provide for maintenance and repair services to various <br />computer hazdwaze and software at the Police Department, and for membership in the <br />Ohio Law Enforcement Network, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Gareau <br />moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings and noted it had been reviewed <br />in committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2007-149 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2007-151 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for diesel fuel <br />and gasoline products for use by the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications now on <br />file in his office, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2007-153 introduced by Mayor O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution adopting the digital map created by the City Engineer as the official zoning <br />map of the City of North Olmsted. Councilman Barker moved for suspension of the rule <br />requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Council Member Dailey Jones <br />and passed unanimously. A <br />resolution approving the award of a job creation grant to Advanstar Communications, <br />Inc.; further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a grant agreement; and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Gazeau moved for suspension of the rule requiring three <br />readings and noted it had been reviewed in committee. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Councilman Gazeau moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 2007-154 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2008-1 introduced by Councilman Orlowski was given its second <br />reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Community Life Services to make <br />application to the Ohio Historical Society for an Ohio Historical Markers Program Grant, <br />and for the Mayor to accept the grant if awarded and to accept any other donations made <br />from any other persons and/or organizations, all for the purpose of placing a historical <br />marker at Springvale Golf Course, commemorating the air flights and crash of James H. <br />"Jimmie" Doolittle over Springvale in 1929 and 1932. <br />11 <br />
