Council Minutes of 11-17-2009 <br />from any collection source. Councilman Gareau made a motion to suspend the rule <br />requiring three readings noting it had been reviewed in committee. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Councilman Gareau moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. <br />Resolution 2009-129 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2009-130 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its second reading. <br />An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into contracts for the deposit of public <br />monies with the institutions designated by Council as depositories for the active and <br />interim account of the city, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Gareau made a <br />motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings noting it had been reviewed in <br />committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman <br />Jones and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2009-130 adopted. <br />Resolution 2009-134 introduced by .Mayor O'Grady and Councilman Barker was given <br />its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the city, to enter <br />into arevenue-generating contract with the Coca-Cola Bottling Company to provide for <br />beverage vending services at all city of North Olmsted facilities, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance 2009-135 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. An <br />Ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the city of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2009. <br />Ordinance 2009-136 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. An <br />Ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the city of North Olmsted for a Do Not <br />Block Intersection sign for south bound Stearns Road before Hastings for Hastings <br />intersection and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Jones made a motion to <br />suspend the rule requiring three readings as this intersection is being blocked daily, and <br />as the holidays approach with more congestion, she would like to get this passed as soon <br />as possible. The motion was seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed <br />unanimously. <br />Dennis Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane said he previously asked if the legislation had in it a <br />provision for stop bars at the line where the street would intersect to the area of the sign <br />and no. He suggested since they have to meet on these things and there has to be an <br />Ordinance that this Ordinance be amended for provision to allow for a stop bar to be put <br />in. <br />Councilwoman Jones moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Mahoney and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2009-136 adopted. <br />Resolution 2009-137 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Director of Community Life Services to apply for funds from <br />the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging for the city's programs under the Title III of <br />8 <br /> <br />
