Tem orary development signs, announcing a proposed bui~3ing, a Tui~ding under construction or advertising the sale, rental or lease of a building, or part thereof, shall be located on the lot occupied by the building or use advertised and shall not exceed forty (40) square feet in total area for each street frontage. Permanent signs, indicating name, owner or manager shall be permitted; size and design, however, shall first have to be approved by the Building Official. (F) Signs in business districts may be located on the surface of, or project from, the building wall adjacent to a street, a pedestrian way or adjacent to a parking area, or erected on poles or other ground supports in yards as herein regulated. The maximum dimensions set forth shall include the structural members unless otherwise indicated. 1. The maximum size of one (1) face of any ground sign shall-not exceed forty (40) square feet. Supporting columns and structural trim of round, square shaped configurations may be used, but in the event the cross sectional area of such supports or trim exceed twenty-five percent (25%) of the sign face, the sign face must be reduced in size by the amount in excess. 3. Marquee signs, may extend above the fascia, however, tie vertical dimension of such sign, including fascia, shall not exceed four feet (4'). 4.
