(b) to provide vacation relief for a foreman. <br />(c) to accommodate the presence of seasonal, casual and part-time employees. <br />All employee's that are assigned by management to perform as an "acting foreman" may <br />be required to perform all the job duties of his classification in addition to the duties required of <br />an "acting foreman" during this period of time. <br />35.03 All Laborer A, Senior Building Maintenance, Mechanics and employees in Waste Water <br />Treatment Systems wage rates include a fifteen ($.15) cents payment in lieu of the above acting <br />foreman premium. Employees assigned to perform these duties will do so with no additional <br />compensation. <br />35.04 The Employer shall make available all necessary training for employees at the <br />Wastewater Water Plant to maintain their respective licenses. If Employees attend classes during <br />their normal work hours, there will be no loss of regular pay. The Employer will not compensate <br />employees for attending classes outside of normal work hours. Employer will pay for mileage <br />and for one meal not to exceed ten (10) dollars. <br />ARTICLE 36 WORK BY SUPERVISORS <br />36.01 Supervisors will not perform bargaining unit work to the extent that results in lay-off, a <br />reduction in work force or reduction of hours of work by bargaining unit employees. Except foi- <br />emergencies, a supervisor will not perform bargaining unit tasks outside of the Supervisor's <br />normal working hours to deny overtime opportunities to bargaining unit personnel. <br />ARTICLE 37 CHIPPER AND BRUSH ROTATION <br />37.01 Assignment to the chipper and. brush truck will be rotated weekly among the available, <br />qualified personnel in the Forestry Crew. A list showing such rotation assigmnents shall be <br />maintained and will be available for inspection by employees. <br />37.0? It is agreed, at the Employer's discretion that on busy roadways there shall be another <br />vehicle available for safety purposes. <br />ARTICLE 38 <br />JOB DESCRIPTIONS <br />38.01 The Employer retains the right to change or modify employee job descriptions. In the <br />event the Employer changes or modifies an employee's job description, it shall notify the <br />employee of the change or modification and the reason therefore. <br />ARTICLE 39 BOOT, CLOTHING AND TOOL ALLOWANCE <br />39.01 Effective July 1, 2008, all bargaining unit employees shall receive a boot or cold weather <br />gear reimbursement up to three hundred fifty ($350.00) dollars upon the submission of valid <br />receipts. <br />26 <br />
