Ordinance No. 2009-96 (c) Hours Omen to Public. Each park and recreation site shall have signs posted as to hours open and noting the hours the park or site will be closed. (d) Parkin Ag_ reas. Parking in designated areas only. No parking shall be permitted between evergreen trees on West Park and East Park at North Olmsted Park. (e) Certain Vehicles Prohibited. No heavily loaded vehicles or vehicles used for such purposes, except upon special written permission. (f) Animals. No dogs or other animals shall be permitted to run at large in a park or recreation area. See General Offenses Code 505.01(d). (g} Littering. No person shall place, deposit or dispose of any paper, trash, garbage, waste, refuse, junk or any other substance upon public property used for recreation or park purposes. (h) Bill Posting. No person without proper authority shall post any bill or sign, handbill or notice, or advertisement, on any public property used for park or recreation purposes. (i) Gambling. No person, unless exempt by the statutes of the State, as well as Chapter 517 of the General Offenses Code, shall be permitted to conduct a game of chance or scheme of chance, or to gamble in the public parks or recreation areas of the City. (j) Disorderly Conduct and Peace Disturbance. No person shall commit acts which are prohibited in Chapter 509 of the General Offenses Code. (k) Firearms or Explosives. No person shall be permitted to use firearms or explosives contrary to the provisions of Chapter 549 of the General Offenses Code. (1) Picnics. Picnics shall be permitted in designated areas. Large picnics, fifty or more, should first obtain a permit prior to holding function. (m) Camping. No person shall be permitted to use any park or recreation facilities for camping unless authorized to do so by the Director of Public Safety. (n) Slin~shot• Bow and Arrow; Air Gun. No person shall use a slingshot, bow and arrow, or air gun within the public parks or recreation areas of the City, the use of which is prohibited by Section 549.10 of the General Offenses Code. (o) Golf. No person shall cause a golf ball to be propelled by hitting the same. with a golf club within the public parks or recreation areas of the City. (p) Campfires and Cooking. No person shall keep or maintain or light a campfire or cooking fire in an area other than that designated and established within the park area. No person shall permit any fire to be left unattended and must completely extinguish the fire before leaving the area. (q) Travelli~ Public Shows and Carnivals. To the contrary notwithstanding the adoption of Chapter 701 of the Business Regulation Code regulating travelling public shows and carnivals, no such activity regulated thereby shall be permitted in any public park within the City, with the exception that the annual carnival in North Olmsted Park which has heretofore been known as "Homecoming" and was heretofore sponsored by the Community Council will be permitted as per Chapter 701 of the Business Regulation Code, but shall not exceed four days in length of operation.
