.u...,.,. _. ~.. ..~~..~,.~..,_,... _~.~.~._.. __ :....w_....~,.,_,.. _.. .,._. . _Y._.,_.. <br />Ordinance No. 2009-96 <br />BE AMENDED, AND, AS AMENDED, SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS: <br />947.01 RULES AND REGULATIONS. <br />(a) Speed Re lgu ated• No vehicle or horse shall be driven or ridden in the City park or <br />recreation site at a speed greater than fifteen miles per hour. <br />(b) Selling Merchandise. No person, partnership, limited liability or corporation <br />operating for profit exclusive and apart from a nonprofit group or organization shall sell or offer <br />for sale any goods, wares, merchandise or services m the City parks. This shall exclude any <br />agreement the City enters into for the purpose of selling food and non-alcoholic beverages m <br />City parks and shall permit, through express written permission of the City, through the Safety <br />Director, nonprofit groups or organizations to enter into concession agreements for the purpose <br />of selling food and non-alcoholic beverages in City parks for limited special events. <br />(c) Hours Open to Public. Each park and recreation site shall have signs posted as to <br />hours open and noting the hours the park or site will be closed. <br />(d) Parking Areas. Parking in designated areas only. No parking shall be permitted <br />between evergreen trees on West Park and East Park at North Olmsted Park. <br />(e) Certain Vehicles Prohibited. No heavily loaded vehicles or vehicles used for such <br />purposes, except upon special written permission. <br />(f) Animals. No dogs or other animals shall be permitted to run at large in a park or <br />recreation area. See General Offenses Code 505.01(d). <br />(g) Littering. No person shall place, deposit or dispose of any paper, trash, garbage, <br />waste, refuse, junk or any other substance upon public property used for recreation or park <br />purposes. <br />(h) Bill Posting. No person without proper authority shall post any bill or sign, <br />handbill or notice, or advertisement, on any public property used for park or recreation purposes. <br />(i) Gambling. No person, unless exempt by the statutes of the State, as well as <br />Chapter 517 of the General Offenses Code, shall be permitted to conduct a game of chance or <br />scheme of chance, or to gamble in the public parks or recreation areas of the City. <br />(j) DisorderlXConduct and Peace Disturbance. No person shall commit acts which <br />are prohibited in Chapter 509 of the General Offenses Code. <br />(k) Firearms or Explosives. No person shall be permitted to use firearms or <br />explosives contrary to the provisions of Chapter 549 of the General Offenses Code. <br />(1) Picnics. Picnics shall be permitted in designated areas. Large picnics, fifty or <br />more, should first obtain a permit prior to holding function. <br />(m) Camping. No person shall be permitted to use any park or recreation facilities for <br />camping unless authorized to do so by the Director of Public Safety. <br />(n) S1ingLhot• Bow and Arrow; Air Gun. No person shall use a slingshot, bow and <br />arrow, or air gun within the public parks or recreation areas of the City, the use of which is <br />prohibited by Section 549.10 of the General Offenses Code. <br />
