<br />1. Operate classes and provide skating instruction for students only during hours <br />approved by the Recreation Complex management. <br />2. Perform a11 duties and responsibilities of programming skating instructions, subject <br />to obtaining approval for all programs fram the City's Recreation Commission prior <br />to the public release of any information on any proposed program. The City sha11 <br />not unreasonably delay its approval of any proposed program. <br />3. Provide necessary information to the City ta register, organize, and advertise classes <br />and programs conducted or supervised by Corrtractor. Such information will include <br />class length, time, cost, and other details relative to the promotion of the classes and <br />programs. <br />4. Recommend the hiring and firing of qualified class instructors at the direckion and <br />under the control of the Ice Rink Supervisor. <br />5. Provide supervision of instructors, including training of both paid and volurrteer <br />instructors. <br />6. Enforce all policies and procedures involving participation in classes, lessons or <br />activities by unregistered or improperly registered persons. <br />7. Work directly with the Ice Rink Supervisor on promotions for the skating program. <br />8. Direct and supervise a11 exhibitions and ice shows. <br />9. Perform other duties as directed by the City, which aze reasonable and necessary to <br />fulfill the express duties and responsibilities set forth above. <br />The duties and responsibilities of the City under this Contract are as follows: <br />1. Provide equipment, instructional aids and materials which aze reasonably needed to <br />operate a skating progra,m. <br />2. Provide advertising for the instructional programs, exhibitions and ice shows, as <br />requested by Corrtractor, and in a manner determined hy the City to be reasonable <br />and appropriate. <br />3. Assist with the production of instructional programs, exhibitions and ice shows by <br />providing a maintenance staff of no less than five individuals ta aid in building and <br />setting in place equipment, proper stages and props, as reasonably needed and as <br />directed by Cornractor. <br />2
