Al! deductions under this Article accompanied by an aiphabeticaf (ist of all ernployees for whom <br />deducfions have been made,.shali be transmitted to the Union no later than the fiftsenth (15) day <br />following the end of the pay period in which the deduction is made, and upon receipt, the Union <br />shali assume fufl responsibiiity for the disposition of all funds deducted. <br />5ecfion 3. The Union wil( indemnify and save the City harmless from any action growing out of <br />deducfions hereunder and commenced by an empfoyee against the City or the City and the <br />Union joint4y. <br />Section 4. Afl bargaining unit employees who are not members of the Union shall pay a fair <br />share fiee to the Union in the amount csrtified by the Union as being praperfy chargeabie as a <br />fair share fee. All employees hired afEer the effective dafe of the Contract who do nat became <br />members of the Union shall pay the fair share fee, effecfive sixty (60) days from the employee's <br />date of hire, as a condifion or em.pfoyment. The deduction of the Fairshare frorn any earnings of <br />the empfoyee shali be automafic and does not require a written aufhorization for payroll <br />deduction. Payment to the Union of fair share fees shall be rnade in accordance with Section 1 <br />and 2 above. <br />ARTiCLE 5 BlJLLETIN. BC)ARDS <br />Section 1. The City shalf provide the Union four (4) Bulletin Boards; One (1) in the Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant; One (1) in the Service Garaoe Lunchroom, One (1) in the Systems Office and <br />One (1) in the Service Department Lunchrflom, for notices af Union Susiness providing notices <br />of Union meefings, elecfions and other Union related matters. All notices or other material <br />posted must be signed and dated by a Union Officer or Steward. Upon request by the Gity, the <br />Union shall remove any posfing #hat is inflammatory or critical of the City, City Officials ar of any <br />other empfoyees or persons, or which are pofitical (partisari) in nature. <br />3
