Employees Birthday (ndependence Day <br />One-ha(f (112) Day Gaod Friday President's Day <br />Memorial Day <br />Secfion 2. In addition to the above holidays, a regu{ar fuil-time employee shail be entitied <br />to observe three (3) personal days as a holiday with pay in each years (July 1 through June 30) <br />covered by the terms of this Agreement, The personal days shall be scheduled by mutual <br />agreement between the employee and his supervisor. <br />Section 3. If an employee does not use sick leave time for any 6 month period, firom his <br />last sick day, he shafl receive twenty-four (24) hours off or at his option, the cash equivalent of <br />twenty-four (24) hours. Such bonus days may be taken at a time mutually agreeable to the <br />City and the employee. Such bonus days must be taken within one year of accruaf. Up to one <br />absence per year for attending a funeral as provided in Article 33 may be used without effecting <br />eligibility for bonus days. <br />Section 4. To be entifled to haliday pay, emp(oyees must work the last regular work day <br />before and the first regular work day after the haliday unless excused by the Gity. If any of the <br />above holidays fall on a Saturday or a Sunday, either the previous Friday or the following <br />Monday sha(I be observed as the holiday. <br />ARTICLE 17- CALL-(N PAY <br />Section 1. If an employee daes not receive prior notification of call-in during his previous <br />shift, he shall receive a minimum of two (2) hours work or two (2) hours pay. <br />ARTICLE 18- NEW AND CHANGED JOBS <br />Secfion 1. The parties agree that the jobs presently inc(uded in fihe bargaining unit are <br />such tnat the typical office and maintenance equipment is currently being utilized. It is not <br />contemplated that there wiil be any substantial changes in the method of operations, toois or <br />equipment. However, there may be new positions creafed as support to existing positions in the <br />area of computer technology requiring programming ski{Is or the (ike. If any such position is <br />24
