LETTER OF AGREEMENT <br />The following days will be considered hours worked for defining Article 43, <br />Section 6 of this agreement. Vacation, holiday, jury duty, witness pay, and <br />personal days. Sick time is not to be considered hours worked, which includes <br />days taken for funeral leave. For the purpose of defining the overtime rate, the <br />thirty-five cents ($.35) per hour will not be incorporated into the premium rate, <br />but will remain thirty-five cents ($.35) per hour for every hour actually worked. <br />Example: An A Laborer 2001 base hourly rate is $18.70 per hour, plus $35 <br />per hour for personnet with a Class A CDL =$19.05 per hour. Times twice <br />the base rate of pay ($18.70/hr.) as defined in Article 10, Section 5, _$37.40 <br />per hour, plus the $.35 per hour =$37.75 per hour. The same calculation <br />applies for hours worked at time and half rate. This example is to be used for <br />all rates of pay contained in this agreement, for the personnel who maintain a <br />Class a C.D.L. <br />FOR THE IJNION
