Before lowering the cab, this device must be disengaged using the stay arm control <br />located near the cab raise,llower switch. <br />INTERLOCK. CAB LIFT TO PAF.hING BRAKE <br />The cab lift system shall be interlocked to the parking brake. The cab tilt mechanism shall be <br />active only wrhen the parking brake is set and the ignition switch is in the on position, if the <br />parl:ing brake is released the cab tilt mechanism shall be disabled. <br />MIRRORS <br />A Velvac; model 2010, west coast mirror shall be mounted on each side of the fi-ont cab door. <br />Mirror dimensions shall be 7.00" wide x 16.00" high, and shall be heated and motorized. The <br />shell shall be bright annealed stainless steel. <br />Both mirrors shall be heated and have a remote control that is convenient to the driver. <br />CONVEX MIRRORS <br />A 8.00" diameter round convex mirror shall be installed below, each west coast inii-ror head. <br />BUMPER <br />A one (I) piece, ten (10) gauge, 304-2B type polished stainless steel bumper, a minimum <br />10.00" high shall be attached to a bolted modular extension frame constructed of 50,000 psi <br />tensile steel "C" channel mounted directly behind it to provide adequate support strength. <br />The bumper shall be extended 26.00" from front face of cab. <br />Documentation shall be provided, upon request to show that the options seIected have been <br />enjineered for fit-up and approval for this modular bumper extension. A chart shall be <br />provided to iildicate the option locations and shall include but not be liiZiited to the following <br />options: air horns, meclianical sirens, speakers, lzose trays (with hose capaeities), winches; <br />liahts, discharae and suction connections. <br />HosETRAY <br /> <br />A hose tray, constructed of aluminum, shall be placed in the center of the bumper extension. ? <br /> <br />The tray shall have a capacity of 30' of 5.00" double jacket cotton-polyester hose. i <br />? <br />? <br />Blaclc rubber L-rating shall be provided at the bottom of the tray. Drain holes are also provided. <br />A hose trav shall be placed in the left side of the eatended bumper. <br />The tra_y- shall have a capacity of 100' of 1.75' double jacket cotton-polyester hose. <br />Black rubber grating shall be provided at the bottom of the trav. Drain holes shall also <br />provided. <br />TOW HOOKS <br />Two (2) chromed steel tow hooks shall be installed under the bumper and attached to the front <br />Page 21
