Specifications <br />1) Documentation of the electrical system performance tests. <br />.2) A written load analysis. which shall include the following: <br />A} The nameplate rating of tlie altenzator. <br />B) The alternator rating under the conditions specified per: <br />NFPA 1901 <br />1999 Edition, section 11-3.2. <br />C) The minimum continuous load of each component that is specified per: <br />NFPA 1901 <br />1999 Edition, section 11-3.2. <br />D) Additional laads that, when added to the minimum continuous load; detei-mine the <br />total connected load. <br />E) Each individual inteimittent load. <br />All of the above Iisted iteins shall be provided by the bidder per the following: <br />NFPA 1901 <br />1999 Edition, section 11-15. <br />EXTERIOR LIGHTING <br />Front headlights shall be halogen type, rectangular shaped, quad style mounted in a clu-orne <br />and poIished aluminum housing. <br />LED's <br />Seven (?) LED ciearance and marker lights shall be installed across the leading edge of the <br />cab. <br />LED DIRECTIONAL (Ft•ont) <br />Fi-ont turn si-nals to be Whelen, Model 640CLTAR, amber LED lights. Each Iight shall be <br />mounted to the apparatus by a Whelen, 6EFLANGE, optional flange kit. The tunz siLnals <br />shall be located below the headliahts. <br />In addition to the front facing directional, a K•D Lamp Company, ?Vlodel 856-31055, <br />marker,!turn indicator shall be provided on each side of the cab. - <br />LED LIGHTS, FRONT ZONE LOWER <br />Two (?) pair of Whelen, Model 64, red LED with self-contained flasher warning lights shall <br />be installed on the cab face above the headlights. Both shall be mounted in a common bezel <br />matching the one for the headlamps. The inboard li4hts shall be used as in addition to 1901 <br />NFPA requirements.
