Specifications <br />One (1) 13' aluminum, Model 101 Little Giant folding ladder rated for 300 pounds shall be <br />mounted to the outside of the roof ladder on the body. The extension hei4hts shall be 7' to 11`. <br />The weight shall be 26 pounds. in a stainless steel trough above the punlp module. <br />PIKE POLE STORAGE <br />Aluminum tubing shall be used for the storage of three (3) pike poles and shall be located in <br />tlle ladder storage compartment. If tlze head of a pike pole can come in contact with a painted <br />surface, a stainless steel scuffplate shall be provided. <br />STEPS <br />A step shall be provided on the front of each fender compartment. The front step shall be a <br />bright finislied foldind type. <br />REAR FOLDING STEPS <br />Chrome foldinQ steps shall be provided at the rear. All steps shall provide adequate surface <br />for stepping. ? <br />Two (2) additional folding steps shall be Iocated one each side on the fi-ont compartment <br />bull:heads. <br />MIDSHIP FIRE PtiMP <br />Midship fire pump shall be a Hale QMAX-I50, 1500 gpm, sin-gle stage, midship mounted, <br />centrifugal type. <br />Pump shall be the class "A" type. <br />Pump shall deliver the percentage of rated discharges at the pressures indicated belo??: <br />- 100° o of rated capacity at 150 psi net pump pressure. <br />- 100% of rated capacity at 165 psi net pump pressure. <br />- 70% of rated capacity at 200 psi net pump pressure. <br />- 50% of rated capacity at 250 psi net puinp pressure. <br />Entire pump, both suction and discharge passages, shall be hydrostatically tested to a pressure <br />of 500 psi. <br />Pump shall be fully tested at the pump manufacturer's factory to the perfozmance requirements <br />as ouflined by the latest NFPA pamphlef #1901, arld shall be free from objectionable pulsation <br />and vibration. <br />Pump body and related parts shall be of fine grain alloy cast iron, with a minimum tensile <br />strength of 30,000 psi (2041.2 bar). <br />All moving parts in contact with water shall be of high quality bronze or stainless steel. <br />Pumps utilizing castings made of lower tensile strength cast iron not acceptable. <br />Bidder <br />Complies <br />Yes I No <br />Pump bod}- shall be horizontally split, on a single plane, in two (2) sections, for easy removal <br />Patre 45
