Specifications <br />Tne front suction shall be located on the passenger side of the bumper extension. <br />The fronf suction shall be gated with an air operated control at the pump operator's panel. The <br />actuator shall have an adjustable regulator for controllin- the speed in which the valve opens <br />and closes. <br />INTAKE RELIEF VALNrE <br />An intalce reiief valve, preset at 125 - psi-,, shall be installed on the inlet side of the <br />valve. <br />Relief valve shall have a workin-2 range of 75 psig to 250 psicr. <br />Outlet sha11 terminate below the framerails. <br />The front inlet shall have Ivational Standard liose threads with a long handle chrome plated <br />cap. <br />SNN'INrEI, <br />The front suction shall have a 5.00" swivel with National Standard hose. threads. <br />S?'IVEL ST'OPS <br />Installed on the front bumper extension sha11 be stainless steel rods to limit the travel of the <br />froilt inlet swiveL Two (2) stainless steel rods shall be threaded into the bumper deck. <br />STORZ INLET ADAPTER <br />A 5.00" NST X 5.00" Storz adapter with cap shall be provided for the front suction inlet. <br />INLET BLEEDER N'ALVE <br />A.75" ba11 type bleeder valve shall be provided for each side gated inlet. The ??alves shall be <br />located behind the panel with a handwlleel type 1:z7ob for the control extended to the outside of <br />the panel. The water that is discharged by tile valve shall berouted below the chassis frame <br />rails. <br />TANK TO PLiMP <br />Tnebooster tank shall be connected t.o the intake side of the pump with heavy duty piping aiid <br />_ a quarter tul-n 3.00" full flow line valve with the controi remotely located at the operator's <br />paneL Tank to puinp line to run straight (no elbows) from the pump into the front face of the <br />water tank and angle down into the tank sump. A rubber coupling shall be included in this <br />iine to prevent damage from vibration or chassis flexing. <br />A check valve shall be provided in the tank to pump supply line to prevent the possibility of <br />"back filling" the water tank. <br />TATNK TO PUMP <br />The booster tank shall be connected to the intake side of the pump with heav_y duty pipinc, and <br />a quarter tum 3.00" full flow line valve with the control remotely located at the operator's <br />Page 50 <br />Bidder <br />Complies <br />Yes I no
