Specifications <br />including the power-up and power-down sequence, shall be permanently attached to the <br />apparatus at any point where such operations can take place. <br />Provisions shall be made for quickly and easily placintr the power source into operation. The <br />control shall be marked to indicate when it is correctly positioned for power source operation. <br />Anv control device used in the drive train shall be equipped with a means to prevent the <br />unintentional movement of the cotltrol device from its set position. <br />A power source specification label shall be permanently attached to the apparatus near the <br />operator's control station. The lZbel shall provide the operator with the information detailed in <br />Fi gure 19-4.10. <br />Direct drive (PTQ) and portable Qenerator installations shall complN7 with Article 445 <br />(Generators) of the NEC. <br />Overcurrent protection <br />The conductors used in the power supply assembl-v between the output ternlinals of the power <br />source and the main over, current protection device shall not exceed 144 inches. (3658 mm) in <br />l en ath. <br />For fixed power supplies, all conductors in the power supply assembly shall be rype THHIX. <br />THIA', or use stranded eonductors enclosed in noiZmetallic liquid tight flexible conduit rated <br />for a minimuin of 194 dearee Fahrenheit (90 degrees Celsius). <br />For poilable power supplies, conductors loca.ted between the power source and the line side or <br />the main overcurrent protection device shall be type SO or type SEO with suffix ?t%A fexible <br />cord rated for 600-volts a.t 194 deLyrees Fahreilheit (90 degrees Ceisius). <br />??"irinU Methods <br />Fixed wiring systems shall be limited to the foliowing: <br />- Netallic or nonrrietallic liquid tight flexible conduit rated at not less than 194 dez-,rees <br />Fahrenheit (90 dearees Celsius) <br />or <br />- Type SO or Type SEO cord with a WA suffix, rated at 600 volts at not less than 194 <br />degrees Fahrei-itleit (90 degrees Cel-sius) <br />Electrical cord or conduit sha11 not be attached to chassis suspension compoi7ents, vvater or <br />fuel lines, air or air brake lines, fire pump piping, hydraulic lines, exhaust system components, <br />or ]oN?7 voltage wiring.
