Pre-Design Services• <br />(a) Coordination of owner-supplied data, including Engineering Department <br />requirements. <br />(b) Presentation to the City of preliminary layout plans, budget and schedule for <br />review. <br />4. Draftin? Services: <br />(a) Prepare plan and detail sheets at appropriate scales on 24" x 36" sheets. All <br />survey points are to be included on the drawing. Show all storm and sanitaxy <br />utilities in plan and profile. Plans shall indicate any areas on private property <br />where grade of new improvements would necessitate such items as minor grading <br />of lawn areas or replacement of a portion of driveways. <br />(b) All lettering on the plan and detail sheets is to be done with drafting standards <br />acceptable to the City. Drawings shall include a title sheet, general notes, typical <br />sections, plan sheets, and detail sheets. <br />(c) All final plans will be reviewed by the City. Submit two (2) interim copies of the <br />plan sheets for review. <br />5. Detailed Design Document Services• <br />(a) Preparation of design drawings and specifications for use in bidding and con- <br />struction. The specifications shall be incorporated into a project manual which <br />sha11 also include the advertisement, instruction to bidders, general conditions, <br />bid forms, bond requirements, prevailing wage rates, affidavits, and other misc- <br />ellaneous forms required for a bidding document. Final plans and specifications <br />shall incorporate all changes required in review of preliminary or intermediate <br />plans. <br />(b) All design drawings shall be done using an electronic program which is com- <br />patible with the AutoCAD cO Version 12 program. A diskette or diskettes, if <br />necessary, formatted in AutoCAD C Version 12 containing a file for each final <br />design drawing prepared during the project shall be submitted to the City. <br />(c) Work shall be coordinated with utility companies as necessary. The City Engineer <br />shall be copied in all correspondence to utility companies.
