The Consultant shall be responsible for the <br />professional quality, technical accuracy, timely completion, and coordination of <br />all services. <br />(f) The scope of services may be amended by mutual agreement. <br />(g) If a dispute arises between the Consultant and the City regarding the contract for <br />services, the City and the consultant shall negotiate in an attempt to resolve the <br />dispute. Should negotiations be unsuccessful, a mutually acceptable third party <br />may be engaged to mediate the dispute, with expenses equally shared between <br />the City and the Consultant. <br />(h) All communications during the project by the consultant to the City shall be <br />directed to the office of the City Engineer or Service Director. All official and <br />binding communications from the City to the consultant shall be from the <br />Service Director or the City Engineer. <br />2. _Su?g Services• <br />(a) Research and procure all appropriate records and perform all surveys to <br />establish the horizontal and vertical control alignment for the proposed <br />improvements. <br />(b) Obtain all pertinent information regarding the present conditions at the site with <br />respect to existing installation or other conditions relevant to the design. <br />(c) The benchmark for any site improvements shall be shown on the plans. <br />3. Preliminarv Desi n Services• <br />(a) Coordination of owner-supplied data, including Engineering Department and <br />Golf Course Facility Manager requirements. <br />(b) Presentation to the City of preliminary layout plans, budget and schedule for <br />review. <br />4. Drafting and Intermediate Design Services• <br />(a) Prepare plan and detail sheets at appropriate scales on 24" x 36" sheets. All <br />survey points are to be included on the drawing.
