i <br />The following design aspects will be addressed in the plans and specifications: <br />a. Roadway Design: The roadway plans will show all the information regarding <br />alignment, profile, typical sections and geometrics. The following scales will be <br />used, if approved by the city: <br />Plan 1" = 20' <br />Profile 1 " = 20' horizontal, 1 " = 5' vertical <br />Typical Sections 1/4" = 1'-0" <br />The scale for the details will be selected to best represent the required information. <br />All utilities including storm sewers, sanitary sewers and water lines will be shown <br />in both plan and profile views.' <br />It is not anticipated that cross sections or driveway profiles will be required. <br />b. Drainage: The design documents will include the repair, rebuilding or <br />replacement of catch basins and manholes as necessary. <br />c. Traffic Control: A pavement marking plan will be prepared to re-establish the <br />existing traffic patterns after resurfacing. <br />d. Utilitx Coordination: All utility owners will be contacted when the project is <br />initiated, and they will receive copies of the plans from the preliminary submission <br />and from the final tracings. <br />e. Geote-clinical Investi a io s: No geotechnical investigations will be performed as <br />part of this project. <br />f. Reviews: All reviews will be performed by the City of North Olmsted. No <br />reviews will be performed by the Ohio Department of Transportation or the <br />Cuyahoga County Engineer. <br />a <br />t <br />~~ <br /> <br />g. ('orL~ction Cost Es 'mate: A detailed construction cost estimate will be submitted <br />with the final tracings. <br />4. ~111g and Construction Services <br />Eighteen (18) sets of plans and fifteen. (15) bound Project Manuals will be furnished to the <br />City for bidding purposes, and we will be available to answer questions regarding plan <br />intent during bidding, and to assist the City in the evaluation of all bids received. <br />i <br />
