consumption on the premises; <br />2. Any place providing dancing or entertainment. <br />D. Service establishments for local or neighborhood needs, but limited to <br />barber shops, beauty shops, custom tailors, laundry or dry <br />cleaning agencies where none of the processing is done on the <br />premises, self-service laundries and dry cleaning or shoe repair <br />shops. <br />E. Any other local retail use which the Commission determines will <br />primarily serve the needs of the residents or office tenants of the <br />Mixed Use District and which will not have an adverse impact <br />upon the district's real property values, aesthetics or vehicular <br />traffic patterns. <br />(e) Any land within the City zoned Mixed Use District A before the adoption of this Zoning <br />Code shall remain designated Mixed Use District A. Further, any land zoned Mixed Use District B <br />prior to the adoption of this Zoning Code, shall be hereinafter designated Mixed Use District C." <br />be amended, and, as amended, shall read as follows: <br />"1149.03 USES PERMITTED. <br />(a) Mixed Use District A. Any of the uses defined in subsections (b)(1), (2) and (3) hereof <br />shall be permitted. Additionally, uses permitted in a General Retail Business District, as set forth in <br />Section 1139.01, shall be permitted provided, however, that the plan of the development area meets <br />all of the requirements and restrictions set forth in this section and Sections 1149.04 to l 149.07 and <br />further provided that the proposed use is approved by the Planning Commission, which shall <br />determine whether it has been integrated into the plan in such a manner as shall promote the intent <br />and purposes of a mixed use development. <br />(b) Mixed Use District B. Any of the uses defined in subsections (b)(1), (2) and (3) hereof <br />shall be permitted. Additionally, the following business uses shall be permitted provided, however, <br />that the plan of the development area meets all of the requirements and restrictions set forth in this <br />section and Sections 1149.04 to 1149.07 and further provided that the proposed use is approved by <br />the Commission, which shall determine whether it has been integrated into the plan in such a manner <br />as shall promote the intent and purposes of a mixed use development: <br />Offices-professional/business; <br />- Hotel; <br />- Banks and other financial institutions; <br />- Restaurant-freestanding full service; <br />- Restaurant/lounge within office building or hotel; <br />- Sale of books, magazines, newspapers, tobacco products, drugs, flowers, gifts and <br />stationary within office building or hotel; <br />- Barber/beauty shop, travel agency within office building or hotel; and <br />- Day care center. <br />(1) Multiple dwellings.
