(d) Faiis to report to work within seven (7) calendar days then recailed from lay-off by <br />certified mail addressed on the C'ity's records, unless the employee is unable to work <br />due to medicaliy proven disability, <br />(e) ls absent without report for three (3) consecutive work days unless the employee has <br />a reasonable excuse for failing to report the absence. <br />Section 5. The City shall advise the Union in writing of additions to or deletions from the seniority <br />list at the end of each pay period. A copy of the list of additions and/or deletions will be sent to the <br />Lacal Union President and the Loca! Union Treasurer. <br />ARTiCLE 90: HOURS OF WORK <br />5ection 1. The normal work week for regular full-time empioyees in the Service Department, the <br />Waste Water Cotlection System and the Waste Water Trea#ment Plant shall be forty (40) hours of <br />work in five (5) days of eight (8) consecutive hours per day, exc{usive of time allotted for meals <br />during the period starting 7:00 A.M. Monday to 6:59 A.M. the following Monday. It is recognized that <br />the Waste Water Treatment Plant wiil be manned on a continuous operation schedule and individual <br />employees will be assigned to work schedules accordingly. <br />(a) The day shift schedule hours in the Service Department shall be from 7:00 A.M. to <br />3:30 P.M. Monday through Friday, year round. <br />(b) From November fifteenth (15#h) to April fifteenth (15th) the second shift hours shall <br />be from 3:00 P.M. to 11:00 P. M. Monday through Friday, inclusive of ineal time, the <br />third shift hours shall be 11:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. Sunday through Friday, inclusive of <br />meal time. Such 2nd and 3rd shift work wiil first be given to volunteers, than any <br />vacancies wiil be filled with the least senior employees within the classification <br />needed. The City will post a notice of intent to accept applications from votunteers <br />five (5) calendar days before the above referenced shift(s) begin. The notice shall <br />clearly state the date and time the shift will begin and the job classification(s) <br />required. <br />( c) Employees assigned to 6uilding Maintenance and Systems Division shall work from <br />7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M., Monday through Friday, year raund. <br />(d) Employees assigned to Police Station Maintenance shall work from 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 <br />P.M., Monday through Friday, year round. <br />(e) From April fifteenth (15th) to November fifteenth (15th) the second shift hours shall <br />ems:opeiu/an-cio <br />98KNOLM.WPD 10 <br />.??.? ,r.e..ti?.. ? ?? ?? ?,?..?> ??,?.??? •v
