It is further agreed that if any bargaining uni# empioyed by the City of Nvrth Olmsted, <br />in negotiations he(d subsequent to this agreement and for the same time period covered under this <br />agreement, negotiates to conclusion a lower psrcentage of employee contribution to Hea{th <br />lnsurance Plan, the lower percentage shall apply to the unit covered under this agreement. Said <br />lawer percentage shall commence under this agreement at the time that it is agreed upon by another <br />unit, and shall continue for the remaining years covered under this agreement. <br />Section 8. fn addition ta tlie med+cal insurance described and contained in Section 1 above, the <br />employer wiH develop "parallel" medical insurance plan to be effective January 1, 1999. Prior to <br />implementation of such plans, the employer will discuss them with the Union and employees wil( be <br />given an opportunity to enroll thirty (30) days prior to January 1, 1999. <br />Section 9. The City will provide a pretax program for the employees contribution to health <br />insurance effective 1/1199. <br />ARTlCLE 26 - JURY OR WITMESS PAY <br />Section 1. An employee called for jury duty shall be granted a feave of absence for the period <br />of jury service and will be compensated at fu!l pay for absences necessarily caused by the jury duty. <br />An employee who is required to be absent from scheduled work to serve as a witness on a City <br />re(ated issue wiil be paid for time lost from scheduied straight time work. An employee who is called <br />as a witrtess due to his part-time employment in the area of public law enforcement with the city of <br />North Olmsted shaA receive his regular rate of pay from the City. <br />ARTICLE 27 - SAFETY AND HEALTH <br />Section 1.
