<br />ARTICLE 10- HOURS OF WORK <br />Section 1. The normal week far regular full-time bargaining unit employees o# the City Hall, <br />Fire Department, Division on Aging, Recreat+on Department and Police Department sha!l be forty <br />(40) hours of work in five (5) days of eight (8) consecutive hours per day, inclusive of time allotted <br />for meals during the period, providing the employee works a total of five (5) hours, uniess an <br />emergency occurred. it is recognlzed that the Police Department, and Recreation Department <br />(maintenance employees), and Springvale GoifCourse wi(i be manned on a cantinuous opera#ion <br />schedule and individuai employees will be assigned to work schedules accordingly. For <br />employees who work on Saturday and/or Sunday as part of their regular work week, their first day <br />off shall be considered their Saturday and the second day off shaQ be considered Sunday for <br />overtime purposes. An emergency is defined ta mean not preplanned or scheduled. <br />(a) City Hall Clerks and Inspectors wi{i be scheduled to worlc 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., <br />. Monday through Friday. <br />(b) Recreation Department Clerks wi!l be scheduled to work 8 30 a m to 430 p.m. <br />Monday through Friday. <br />(c) Maintenance Empioyees anly with the Recreation Department wiil be given a seven <br />(7) day advance notice of any <br />schedule change. <br />Section 1A. The City may change the hours af the City HaU clerical emp(oyees to work <br />eight (8) continuous hours between the hours of 7:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M., to allow the City to have <br />offices open for the pubiic earlier or later than current(y provided.
