paid at finro times (2X) the employee's sfraight time rate of pay, except for employees regularly scheduled to work on that Sunday. Section 5. In determining whether an employee has worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any work week, the following shali be considered as hours worked: (a) Hours on a hoiiday which t#ie employee did not work but for which he received pay pursuant to Article 16 of this Agresment. (b) Hours of vacation which the employee did not work but for which he received pay pursuant to Art9cle 1.5 of this Agreement. (c) Hours of jury duty or witness duty which the empioyee did not work but for which he received pay pursuant to Article 20 of the Agreement. (d) Employses who are on vacation when a holiday occurs wili not be credited with a vacation day and will be paid for the holiday as per Article 18. Section 6. The Cit}r shall endeavor, insofar as it may be practicabfe, to make a generally equitable distribution of avertime work among employees within a c)assification and department who are capable of performing the available work satisfactorily. Employees who are offered overtime, and for any reason rafuse or fail to work, shall be credited with the overtime as if they had worked, for the purpose of overtime distribution. In the event that a sufificient number of employees are not available within the cfassifications for the overtime assignment, qualified employess from a different c(assification and/or department shall be offered the overtime work and the overtime opportunity shall be distributed as equitably as possibie.
