paid at finro times (2X) the employee's sfraight time rate of pay, except for employees regularly <br />scheduled to work on that Sunday. <br />Section 5. In determining whether an employee has worked in excess of forty (40) hours <br />in any work week, the following shali be considered as hours worked: <br />(a) Hours on a hoiiday which t#ie employee did not work but for <br />which he received pay pursuant to Article 16 of this Agresment. <br />(b) Hours of vacation which the employee did not work but for <br />which he received pay pursuant to Art9cle 1.5 of this Agreement. <br />(c) Hours of jury duty or witness duty which the empioyee did not work but for which <br />he received pay pursuant to Article 20 of <br />the Agreement. <br />(d) Employses who are on vacation when a holiday occurs wili not be credited with a <br />vacation day and will be paid for the <br />holiday as per Article 18. <br />Section 6. The Cit}r shall endeavor, insofar as it may be practicabfe, to make a <br />generally equitable distribution of avertime work among employees within a c)assification and <br />department who are capable of performing the available work satisfactorily. Employees who <br />are offered overtime, and for any reason rafuse or fail to work, shall be credited with the <br />overtime as if they had worked, for the purpose of overtime distribution. In the event that a <br />sufificient number of employees are not available within the cfassifications for the overtime <br />assignment, qualified employess from a different c(assification and/or department shall be <br />offered the overtime work and the overtime opportunity shall be distributed as equitably as <br />possibie. Seasonal or part-time emplayees shaii notwor{c until all available fufi-time empioyees <br />in that Department are o#fered ta work the available overtime. <br />Section 7.
