job content, etc., of the job. <br />Section 2. !f the Union is not in agreement with the rate of pay for the job, it can file a <br />grievance at Step 3 of the grievance procedure within thirty (30) days following the termination of <br />discussions conceming the rate of pay. If the grisvance is arbitrated, the arbitrator shall have the <br />authority to recommend the proper rate of payforthe jab orthe arbitratorshall recvmmend placing <br />the job within the rate of pay for that c(assification. Any decision of the artiitrator shall be submitted <br />to the Council of the City of North Olmsted. The Council shaii have thirty.(30) days to review said <br />decision within which time they may, by a two-thirds (2/3) vote (or 5 votes) of af( members of <br />Council, reject the arbitrator's recammendation. ff the Council fails to reject the recommendation <br />by the required vote, then the arbitrator's recommendatian shafl become final and binding and the <br />rate of pay shall be retroactive to the commencement of discussions between the Union and the <br />City in accordance with this paragraph. Any rate and classification agreed to by the City and the <br />Union or recommended as pravided herein by an arbi#rator and not rejected by Council sha(I <br />become part of the wage schedule to this Agreement. in the event. Council rejects the arbitrator's <br />recommendation, as herein before provided, the initial procedure of this paragraph shall be <br />reinstated until a recommendatian is accepted or an agreement is reached. The City shall nat <br />arbitrarily or caprfciousiy reclassify employees or change job descriptions during the I+fe of this <br />Agreement. <br />ARTICLE 19: HOSPITALIZATION <br />Section 1. The City shall provide either individua( or Famiiy medical insurance coverage <br />at the employess option for each full-time employee.
