:kx different plans. Basic hospitalization wi11 be consistent with and similar to those plans offered on <br />July 1, 1994. Basic hospitalization will be that offered to all other empioyees af the city of North <br />Oimsted. The employer has the right to negotiate co-payment and prescription drug ra#es with <br />providers to lower the cost to the empioyer as well as the empioyee contribution. <br />Section 2. Effective July 1, 1998, through December 31, 1999, full-time employee(s) <br />participat+ng within either an individual or family plan shall contribute an amount equal to ten (10%) <br />percent of the plan premium or expected cost of such medical plan and the employer shaii <br />contribute ninety (90%) percent of such cost. The empioyee contribution shall be withheld via <br />payroii deduction not later than the first pay period each month. <br />Effective January 1, 2400 and through the duration this agreement, full-time employee(s) <br />participating within either an individuai or famiiy plan shall contribute an amount equal to twelve <br />(12%) percent of the plan premium or expected cost of such medical pian and the employer shall <br />contribute eighty-eight (88%) percent of such cast. The employee contribution shali be withheld <br />via payroll deduction not later than the first pay pedod each month. <br />Section 3. Expected cost or premium is defined as the cost of a!I medical, hospital. <br />prescription drug and related fees including but not (imited to administration fees. <br />Section 4. The employer reserves the right to establish all plans, enrollment periads and <br />regulations. <br />Section 5. The employer shall make an eamest effort to establish a committee consisting <br />of one (7) representative from each of the City bargaining units, if they chose to be represented <br />and a minimum of one (1) representative of the employer.
