Section 6. Ali changes affecting the plan coverage's co-payments, deductibles, providers enroilment periods and regulations will be shared with the bargaining unit prior to making such changes. Section 7. It is further agreed that if any bargaining unit employed by the City of North Olmsted, in negotiations held subsequentto this Agreement and forthe sametime period covered under this Agreement, negotiates to conclusion a lower percentage of employee contribution to the Health insurance Pian, that lower percentage shall apply to the unit covered under this Agreement. Said lower percentage shaii commence under this Agreement at the time that it is agreed upon by another unit, and shall continue for the remaining years covered under this Agreement. Section 8. In addition to the medical insurance described and contained in Section 1 above, the employerwill develop "parallel" medical insurance plan to be effective January 1,1999. Prior to implementation of such plans, the employer wiil discuss them with the Union and employees will be given an opportunity to enroll thirty (30) days prior to January 1,1999. Section 9. The City will provide a pretax program for the employees contribution to health insurance effective 1/9/1999. ARTICLE 20- JURY. WITNESS PAY AND COURT PAY Section 1. An employee called for jury duty shall be granted a leave o# absence for the period of jury service and will be compensated at full p.ay for absences necessarily caused by the jury duty. An employee who is required to be absent from scheduled work to serve as a witness on a City related issus will be paid for time lost from scheduled straight time work.
