Section 6. Ali changes affecting the plan coverage's co-payments, deductibles, providers <br />enroilment periods and regulations will be shared with the bargaining unit prior to making such <br />changes. <br />Section 7. It is further agreed that if any bargaining unit employed by the City of North <br />Olmsted, in negotiations held subsequentto this Agreement and forthe sametime period covered <br />under this Agreement, negotiates to conclusion a lower percentage of employee contribution to <br />the Health insurance Pian, that lower percentage shall apply to the unit covered under this <br />Agreement. Said lower percentage shaii commence under this Agreement at the time that it is <br />agreed upon by another unit, and shall continue for the remaining years covered under this <br />Agreement. <br />Section 8. In addition to the medical insurance described and contained in Section 1 <br />above, the employerwill develop "parallel" medical insurance plan to be effective January 1,1999. <br />Prior to implementation of such plans, the employer wiil discuss them with the Union and <br />employees will be given an opportunity to enroll thirty (30) days prior to January 1,1999. <br />Section 9. The City will provide a pretax program for the employees contribution to health <br />insurance effective 1/9/1999. <br />ARTICLE 20- JURY. WITNESS PAY AND COURT PAY <br />Section 1. An employee called for jury duty shall be granted a leave o# absence for the <br />period of jury service and will be compensated at full p.ay for absences necessarily caused by the <br />jury duty. An employee who is required to be absent from scheduled work to serve as a witness <br />on a City related issus will be paid for time lost from scheduled straight time work. An employee <br />who is called as a witness due to his part-time employment in the area of public law enforcement, <br />ems:opeiu/1 794af1-cio -30- <br />.
